JUSTIN PRESCOTT, a cast member from "MJ The Musical",

was at Petits Pas to teach a one time Musical Theater spotlight class!

 

During the course of this class, students were guided through a group warmup and learned actual choreography from a number in “MJ the Musical.” Students learned intricacies of the movement, as well as intention, style, and performance details that take place within the context of the show. They were able to explore, execute, and dive into this choreography and gained an understanding of what it is like to do the movement on stage. The class ended in a Q&A, where students had the opportunity to ask the instructor any questions about “MJ the Musical”, working in musical theatre, touring life,... It was an amazing way to connect with one working professional travelling through San Francisco to perform in National Tours straight from Broadway!
