Petits Pas was founded in 2016 by Virginie Personne, Artistic Director.

​

Located in the lovely neighborhood of Sunnyside, Petits Pas hosts a variety of dynamic dance and theater classes for people of all ages.

 

They are held in a welcoming and charming venue composed of two studios.

​

Every year is concluded by an end of year recital where kids & adults students perform on stage in an outstanding venue!

 

Petits Pas also offers day camps & summer camps for children that include arts, dance, yoga, theatre, acrobatics, crafts, and French! 

Every week of camp is concluded by the realization of a short movie which allows the young campers to create their own storyline, characters, props & backgrounds.

Petits Pas also offers events for kids and adults.

 

Petits Pas's students are immersed in a bilingual environment of French and English so they learn ballet terminology as well as broader vocabulary such as counting, colors and body parts.

 

Virginie Personne, Léna Alvino, Marie Walburg, and Marie-Edith de Malefette are all native French speakers and fluent in English, allowing all classes and communication to be bilingual.

Our three teachers have a rich professional background in modern dance, ballet, yoga, and theater and are still performing outside the studio so they can keep a strong connection between their art, teaching, and stage experience.
