General Information

Petits Pas offers dance classes for kids, adults and families.
Petits Pas offers camps for kids (summer camps, day camps, after school programs).
Petits Pas offers theater classes for kids.
Petits Pas offers events for kids and adults.

Dress code

For Dance classes, the dress code is specified in the email sent before each program starts. Students should always wear the recommended leotard and shoes, specific to each class.

For Ballet classes, students must have a hair bun at all times (if not possible, students should have hair pulled back).

Mats, towel and water

Students will use their own yoga mat, water bottle and hand towel if needed.

Facilities policy

Please silence mobile devices upon entering Petits Pas facilities. All programs are conducted in secure facilities for the benefit and the safety of our students. Minors are not allowed to be left unattended in our facilities. Our staff is not authorized to supervise students outside their program schedule.

Programs policy

Family Dance program includes the participation of one child and one parent.

Kids programs include the participation of the child only.

Adults programs include the participation of the adult (+18 years old) only.

Camps include the participation of the child only.

Punctuality is very important. Please arrive on time to allow enough time for check-in process. For security reasons, doors will be closed when class starts. If you are late for drop-off or pick-up, please contact your teacher.

COVID-19 requirements

Petits Pas follows local and state Authorities COVID-19 recommendations and will update schedule, programs, and documentation accordingly.

A Health&Safety plan specific to each program will be sent few days before each program starts. Parents/caregivers and students must read it carefully. For younger students, parents/caregivers must discuss it with them before the first day of the program.

The Health&Safety plan is a detailed document Petits Pas will follow for the duration of the program and will update in regard to any further Government update.

All instructions will be reviewed by staff with students at the beginning of the program.

Masks are required indoors at all times.

All participants (18+yo) are required to show proof of being fully vaccinated to participate in in-person activities, including classes, performances, and other events. More information here.

Sick student policy

Following COVID-19 requirements, for all programs students and families must read the guidelines listed in the Health&Safety Plan which can be found here.

Special conditions, injuries and allergies

For all programs, anyone with serious medical conditions, pregnancy or injuries should consult a doctor prior to participating in a program.
The practice should not hurt and it is the student's and/or parents/caregivers's responsibility (and not the instructor nor Petits Pas) to get medical assistance if it does.
Parent/caregiver should notify Petits Pas before the program starts if a student has any special conditions and/or specific allergies.

Trials and pro-rata

For dance and theater classes, if you want to try a class before signing up for the entire session, please contact us.

Students may join a program after it started. A pro-rata will be applied. Please contact us.

Waitlist

If a program is full, the waitlist will become available. Please contact us.

Cancellation policy

Programs are subject to change at any time due to the nature of the COVID-19 situation, as Petits Pas will follow and adapt to new orders received from local and state Authorities (tuition will remain the same - no refund, no credit).

Classes

Tuitions and recital fees are non-refundable. 

Missed classes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Make ups are not available.

All memberships are nominatives and non-transferable between disciplines.

If a class is cancelled by Petits Pas (insufficient interest for a class or instructor emergency) you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and the cancelled class will either be rescheduled, refunded or you will receive a credit​ for that cancelled class.

Camps

If you cancel up to 30 days before the beginning of the session: 100% credit option you can use for Petits Pas Programs in 2021 & 2022.

If you cancel after that 30 days deadline: no refund or credit will be given.

Cancellation notification should be sent by email.

If a program does not fill, Petits Pas reserves the right to cancel it and will issue a full refund. 

Registrations may be refused by Petits Pas for any student, parent, or legal guardian and for any reason, including, but not limited to not adhering to the rules set forth in these policies.​

Privacy policy

Your privacy is very important to us. Any personal information you choose to give us will only be used to help us provide you with the highest quality of service. We will never share your personal or financial information with any third party.

Waivers

A signed waiver is required for every participant for every program.
Any student under 18 years old must have a parent/guardian’s signature on the waiver. 
Few days before the beginning of the program, you will receive a blank waiver to fill out. A hard copy or a pdf must be sent back to Petits Pas before the first day of the program.
