School Policies

1. General Information

 

We offer online classes and Out of School Time (OST) for families, kids and teens as well as and we offer classes for adults following local and state Authorities recommendations.

Dress code:

Online classes and adults programs: no specific dress code. However, we encourage students to wear loose, comfortable clothes.

OST: dress code will be specified with confirmation of enrollment.
 

Mats, towel and water:

Students will use their own yoga mat, water bottle and hand towel if needed.

 

2. Facilities policy

 

Please silence mobile devices upon entering Petits Pas facilities

 

Please arrive on time to allow enough time for check-in process.

 

All programs are conducted in secure facilities for the benefit and the safety of our students.

MINORS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN OUR FACILITIES. Our staff is not authorized to supervise students outside our programs schedule.

 

3. OST Policy

Family programs include the participation of one child and one parent.

 

Kids and Teens programs include the participation of the child only.

Camps/after-school programs are drop-off only and parents are not allowed to attend at any time.


Drop-off and pick-up will be curbside. Arrivals may be stagger to limit contact between families and students.

Specific instructions will be given for each program after registration.

We encourage the same parents/caregivers to do drop off and pick up students for the duration of the program and we discourage grandparents and other older relatives from picking up students, if they are over 60 years old, since they are more at risk for serious illness.

Parents/caregivers will not be able to enter our program facilities unless advised by our staff for a specific reason.

 

Students, parents/caregivers, staff should wear masks at all times and should maintain social distancing.

 

Our staff will proceed to a health check before being allowed into our facilities.

Staff person will ask students to wash/clean their hands with soap and water or hands sanitizer before entering the facility. 

If a student arrives late for a program, he/she may still join the program in process. Please contact our staff in advance so our staff can meet parents/caregivers and student to follow the check-in process.

 

A Health and safety protocol specific to each program will be sent before program starts. Parents/caregiver and students must read it carefully. For younger students, parents/caregivers must discuss it with them. 

This document is a detailed protocol Petits Pas will follow for the duration of all programs and will be updated in regard to any further Government update.

All instructions will be reviewed by staff at the beginning of the program.

4. Outdoor Adults classes Policy

Adults programs include the participation of the student 18 years old and older only.

Students and staff should wear masks at all times and should maintain social distancing.

If a student arrives late for a program, he/she may still join the program in process. Please contact our staff in advance so our staff can anticipate the late student arrival and follow the check-in process.

5. Indoor Kids classes Policy

Kids programs include the participation of the student only.

Students and staff should wear masks at all times and should maintain social distancing.

6. Child Sick policy

 

For OST, sick students should be kept at home. If a student has signs of any of the following they should not come to OST: fever, runny nose (thick, yellow or green discharge), cough, ear ache, contagious rash, lice, impetigo, upset stomach, diarrhea, vomiting, communicable diseases.

COVID-19 requirements:

For OST parents/caregivers and students must follow the guidelines listed here.​ Students with symptoms (detailed in the guidelines) or with a fever will be sent home and encouraged to seek COVID-19 testing. Any student who is sent home must follow the guidelines listed here as well as any applicable requirements from the quarantine and isolation directives (available online) before returning to any program.

 

7. Special conditions/injuries 

 

For all programs, anyone with series medical conditions or injuries should consult a doctor prior to participating in a program. The practice should not hurt and it is the student's responsibility and not the instructor nor Petits Pas if the student is pregnant or have any injuries before the start of the program.

 

 

8. Free Trial policy

 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are not able to offer trials. 

 

9. Waitlist Policy

 

If a program is full, the waitlist will become available.

10. Cancellation/Refund policy

Programs are subject to change at any time due to the nature of the COVID-19 situation, as Petits Pas will follow and adapt to new orders received from local and state Authorities (tuition will remain the same - no Refund, no Credit).

Classes:

- Tuitions and recital/costume fees are non-refundable.

- Missed classes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Make ups are not available.

- All memberships are nominatives and non-transferable between disciplines.

- If a class is cancelled by Petits Pas (insufficient interest for a class or instructor emergency) you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and the cancelled class will either be rescheduled, refunded or you will receive a credit

For Camps & After-School Programs

- 100% credit option you can use for Petits Pas Programs in 2021 & 2022, if you cancel up to 30 days before the start of the session your camper is signed up for.

- After that 30 days deadline, No Refund or Credit will be given.

- If a camp does not fill, Petits Pas reserves the right to cancel and will issue a full refund for the session. 

Registrations may be refused by Petits Pas for any student, parent, or legal guardian and for any reason, including, but not limited to not adhering to the rules set forth in these policies.

11. Privacy policy

 

Your privacy is very important to us. Any personal information you choose to give us will only be used to help us provide you with the highest quality services. We will never share your personal or financial information with any third party.

 

 

12. Waivers

Waivers are required for all programs.

Any student under 18 years old must have a parent/guardian’s signature on the waiver.
