School Policies

1. General Information

 

Dress code:

For Families and Adults classes there is no specific dress code. However, we encourage students to wear loose, comfortable clothes.

For Kids and Teens classes the dress code will be specified with confirmation of enrollment.
 

Mats, towel and water: Students may bring their own yoga mat if desired. However yoga mats are provided at no charge for all classes that require the use of it.

Students may bring a water bottle and hand towel for any class as they are not provided.

 

Food policy: No food or open containers are allowed in Petits Pas Yoga and Dance studio.

 

 

2. Studio policy

 

Please silence mobile devices upon entering Petits Pas Yoga and Dance studio.

 

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of a class to allow plenty of time to check-in.

 

New students are required to sign a waiver prior participating in their first class. Please arrive a few minutes early to fill out the waiver, or you can download a waiver to fill out prior coming to the studio on our website HERE.

 

All classes are conducted in CLOSED STUDIOS for the benefit and the safety of our students. Please wait until all students have exited the classroom before entering the next class. 

 

Parents or caregivers are asked to wait outside at pick-up until the instructor opens the door.  

 

If you or your child/kid arrive late for a class, you or your child may still join the class in process.

Every student or parent or guardian is required to sign at the front desk.

 

 

3. Class Policy

 

We offer classes for families, kids, teens and adults as well as camps for Kids.

 

Family classes include the participation of one child and one parent during the class.

 

Kids and Teens classes include the participation of the child only and are drop-off only.

However, parents are welcome to attend the first day of class to gain the necessary comfort level.  Indeed the presence of parents would distract the children and the class. Parents may be invited to an observation class, schedule permitted.

 

Adults classes include the participation of the student 16 years old and older only. MINORS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SIT OR BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN THE RECEPTION while the parent or guardian takes a class. The front desk staff is not authorized to supervise children.

 

Camp classes are drop-off only and parents are not allowed to attend any class.

 

 

4. Make ups (for all classes and camps)

 

We strongly feel that children build a bond with each other when attending the same class - it helps them feel comfortable and therefore we do not offer make-up classes. Moreover, Petits Pas also reserves the right to change a student’s class based on appropriate age and/or skill level.

 

 

5. Child Sick policy (for all classes and camps)

 

Sick students should be kept at home. If a student has signs of any of the following they should not come to class: fever, runny nose (thick, yellow or green discharge), cough, ear ache, contagious rash, lice, impetigo, upset stomach, diarrhea, vomiting, communicable diseases.

 

A student should be symptom free for 24 hours, and must be fever and diarrhea free for 24 hours before she/he returns.

 

 

6. Special conditions/injuries (for all classes and camps)

 

Anyone with series medical conditions or injuries should consult a doctor prior to participating in a class. The practice should not hurt and it is your responsibility and not the instructor nor Petits Pas if you are pregnant or have any injuries before the start of the class.

 

 

7. Free Trial policy

 

          For all classes offering a drop-in pass option, no free trial class is offered.

          For all classes that do no offer a drop-in pass option, a free trial class may be offered, based on availabilities. Contact us!

 

 

8. Waitlist Policy

 

If a class is full, the waitlist will become available. You can sign up online on the waitlist under the "Register" Tabs.

 

 

9. Discounts

 

Discounted rate may apply to sibling, second class and adults who have a child enrolled. Please refer to the “Tuitions” tab.

 

 

10. Cancellation/Refund policy

 

We do not offer any cancellation nor refund policies for any class. However, we allow a cancellation for camps if the cancellation notice is sent by email 4 weeks prior the camp start date such as explained under the “Tuitions” tabs on our website.

 

Classes could also occasionally be cancelled by Petits Pas if there is insufficient interest, or if an instructor has an emergency. If the class is cancelled you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and you will receive either a full refund (for the one pass class) or another class (for the session packages).

 

Registration may be refused by Petits Pas for any student, parent, or legal guardian and for any reason, including, but not limited to not adhering to the rules set forth in these policies.

 

 

11. No show policy (for all classes and summer camps)

 

Absence to a class is not refundable.

 

 

12. Privacy policy

 

Your privacy is very important to us. Any personal information you choose to give us will only be used to help us provide you with the highest quality services. We will never share your personal or financial information with any third party.

 

 

13. Waivers

 

Waivers are required for all classes and summer camps. Any student under 18 years old must have a parent/guardian’s signature on the waiver. Please arrive a few minutes early to fill out the waiver, or you can download a waiver to fill out prior coming to the studio on our website HERE.
